Family & Children Ministry

Come for worship together! 8am with paper activities for children; 10am with paper activities and a kids’ talk in the service, plus a children’s program. Hands on learning!

We’re keeping safe and healthy within Plan to Protect guidelines. There’s videos and live action, prayer and sharing, snacks and singing, quiet and lively! We’re all together and in age appropriate groups. We have fun learning to do life with Jesus. There’s also a nursery for the youngest.

Jesus is still Lord! We want to keep encouraging and equipping you to love God first and love your neighbours as yourselves, even through these crazy times. We’ve got a treasure trove of resources, like mini-devos for bedtime or breakfast on our resourses page. Let us know any subjects you or your children would like to focus on!

Our children’s ministry is led by Deacon Jane Manary. It’s usually held during our 10am service throughout the year. There’s also a parent’s room for use during all services, and kids are welcome to move about as needed.

Normally, we hold a family service once a month where the children will join the congregation for a child-friendly service. This is great for us learning to be Jesus’ family all together and helps kids grow into a full worship time.

VBS is held usually the second full week of July at the church for ages 4-12. Check this website or contact Julie in the church office for more information as we get closer. Registration is free.

Our annual church picnic is usually the last Sunday in June. We have a cook-out of hot dogs & burgers, do games & activities for all ages, including face painting, watermelon eating contest, & much more. (will be held indoors if weather makes us.)
